    We have bargained protection for current employees, and we have a provision in the contract that will ensure another job at a linked institution.

  • Extended healthcare benefits

    1199’s job security funds extend individual or family health coverage under the National Benefit Fund (NFB) based on the length of employment.

  • Supplemental unemployment benefits pay

    Members are entitled to an unemployment benefit based on former salary.

  • Short-term training

    Members can attend the fund’s job search workshops, specifically targeting workers in hard-to-place classifications.
